Europrivacy and Interprivacy criteria are closely aligned and interoperable. Both certifications are meant to be easily extendable to complementary national regulations and/or domain-specific obligations.

Interprivacy criteria and methodology are closely aligned with Europrivacy, the official European Data Protection Seal under Art. 42 GDPR. By using similar criteria and methodology, Interprivacy provides interoperability to facilitate mutual recognition across jurisdictions. They also allow you to easily move towards a formal GDPR certification with Europrivacy, or to combined both certifications.
